Application instructions for

Suncoat Water-based Nail Polish

Suncoat Nail Polish performs differently to conventional polishes. When familiar with this gentle product, you will appreciate the benefits and how easy it is to use. To start, follow these simple guidelines:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water and ensure that your nails are dry and free of any grease, dirt and hand cream.
  • Apply thin coats and allow up to 60 seconds for the polish to dry between coats (drying time can be affected by humidity and temperature).
  • 2 coats are usually applied but the colour intensity can be varied to your preference by applying 1- 4 thin coats. No base coat is required.
  • Brush on with as many strokes as required. Allow the bristles to spread out for thin coverage. Although the polish may look streaky when applied, the polish will dry evenly to a more uniform colour.
  • Apply Suncoat Crystal Clear Top Coat for greater resistance to chipping and for a longer-lasting professional-looking finish.
  • Preferably avoid immersion in hot water (showers, baths, and washing dishes) for the first 4 hours after application as the polish continues to cure and harden. An ideal time to paint your nails is before bedtime.
  • If the polish thickens with time, remove any dried lumps from around the top. Then add one drop of water and stir thoroughly. If necessary, add one more drop. The longer the nail polish bottle is open the greater the water evaporation.
  • Remove the polish weekly with Suncoat Nail Polish Remover as the polish becomes more durable over time and therefore can be harder to remove.
  • Store indoors at an ambient temperature. Do not leave the polish in the car during very hot or cold weather.
