Have you ever wondered as you Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise, what exactly am I putting on my body?
That is the question I asked myself some years ago and the realisation that a lot of the mainstream cosmetics and skin/hair products have ingredients that can pose a real danger to your health was frightening. *Ingredients like synthetic antibacterial, thickeners, colours, fragrances and preservatives. These ingredients may also be carcinogenic, disrupt your hormones, cause allergic reactions, or irritate delicate skin.
Like most women (and men) I enjoyed the process of pampering myself, but I did not wish to compromise my health or the environment. I literally said "I want to be kind to myself" hence the name Kind Cosmetics.
I turned to the various Health Shops and whilst they did stock natural products I felt they did not always offer the choice or the entire range. I also realised the word "Natural" was used extensively/freely even when a product was not entirely natural.
Kind Cosmetics was formed to offer you what I feel are "natural" products which I would only be willing to use myself.
I chose Aubrey Organics products because I loved everything about them. I enjoyed the story of how they were formed, the simplicity of their products, how they smell, how they make my face, hair and body feel. I also love the fact Aubrey Organic products are not mass produced, but made in small batches. This is what makes it feel so real. Just think whatever you order today, there is a good chance it was created and packaged just weeks ago.
Another brand I was very excited to find was Suncoat, beautiful non-toxic nail polish. The range is beautiful, my personal favourite is "Berry" (which I always have on my toe nails). Knowing that this product is not drying or damaging your nails or health makes it an absolute pleasure. It goes on very smoothly and is long lasting.
After a long search I was delighted to find Stainless Steel bottles produced to such a high quality. Klean Kanteen introduced the first personal hydration bottle made from Stainless Steel in 2004 to give health and environmentally concious people an alternative to plastic. You will find it very hard to find another stainless steel bottle company, that make a product comparable to the high quality , handcrafted bottles or that commits to strong environmental and labour standards.
Natracare and Douce Nature because their products are chemical and additive free, biodegradeable and contain organic and natural material.
